Browser protection

Outwait adds a pause on selected sites and filters explicit text and images on supported Reddit and X pages. You choose the sites and grant browser access. Detection happens on your device and may make mistakes.

Change or remove protection

Open the extension’s settings to change your selected sites, filtering mode or protection switch. Manage site permissions through Chrome’s extension settings. You can uninstall Outwait from Chrome at any time.

Connect your Mac

The optional connection uses a temporary code from the companion app on your Mac. The Mac app must be running and ready to connect. Disconnect from the extension’s settings to stop synchronization. Do not share pairing codes.

Delete data

Use “Delete local data” in the extension to erase its stored settings and recent moments, disable rules and disconnect. Data previously saved by the Mac app or iCloud must be deleted separately. See the privacy policy for details.

Report a problem

Include your Chrome version, operating system, extension version and a short description of what happened. Please leave out private page content, images, personal goals, pairing codes and other sensitive information. No response-time guarantee is offered during the pre-release period.
